I have been hunting with my dad and grandfather since I was five years old. We hunted for a number of years in the Texas Hill Country. until my dad finally bought a ranch in South Texas.

Last year I shot two bucks on the ranch. One scored 166 B&C, and the other 173 B&C. Other game on the ranch includes feral hogs, coyote and bobcat.

This summer my dad and I traveled to Namibia in the southern part of Africa. I took my new .300 WSM with 180-grain Barnes TSX bullets. The gun and bullets performed great, producing one-shot kills on all the animals I harvested. The longest shot was 275 yards on a springbuck, down to 30 yards for my Leopard.
