I have lived in Alaska for over 20 years, and a couple of years ago decided the boys were having all the fun collecting deer, caribou, bear, etc. while I was spending my time vacuum-sealing meat. I asked for a rifle for Christmas and got a .25-06. That lead me into target shooting and this year, big game hunting.

I started out with a bang, so to speak, with a big grizzly bear. On this year’s planning list are blacktail deer and maybe a bison. We will travel to Montana or the Dakotas for the buffalo.
