I want to thank everyone at Barnes for producing such a magnificent bullet. My wife Linda and I recently went on our honeymoon—a ten-day safari in South Africa. Your bullets performed flawlessly on various species of game, including kudu, waterbuck, wildebeest, wart hogs and impala.
When our PH told us that .270 ammo loaded with Barnes bullets would be sufficient, I must admit I had my doubts. I personally watched as 13 animals were harvested with Barnes Bullets. The only bullet that did not pass completely through the animals was a quartering shot on a blue wildebeest. The bullet traveled from the chest/front shoulder to the rear leg, and was found just under the skin on the off side!
My wife had never taken big game with a rifle prior to our safari. As you can see from the pictures, she had no trouble harvesting both a waterbuck and a kudu. Thanks again for a fantastic bullet!
