HuntersNetworks.com is a great network for the hunting and shooting community. The network includes outfitters, hunting guides, sport hunters, African Phs, taxidermists, outdoor writers, booking agents, manufacturers of hunting and shooting equipment, rifle makers and anyone connected to the hunting and shooting world. A network for all hunters to join. Much better than hiding in an online forum under a pseudo name and identity. Real people here.

I wish to share with you the following experience that happened to me while in Africa hunting a zebra. The zebra in question was approximately 60-80 meters from me standing broadside. As I took aim on the zebra and squeezed my trigger the animal moved forward. I must have compensated for the movement as the trigger broke. My 338 Remington Ultra Mag was spitting out 210gn Barnes TSX behind 93gn RL22.The bullet in question hit a 9inch diameter tree passing through it, on another 15 meters beforing entering the zebra. The bullet passed through the full width of the zebra and stopped under the skin on the otherside. My second shot despatched the zebra. I have been shooting for 40years and have used a variety of projectiles, from bonded to partitioned style bullets but NONE of them have preformed as consistanly as well as BARNES bullets. I have the bullet in question and it has a retained weight of 148.5gn, I have photos of the tree and where the bullet passed through, but above all I have the trophy. This I owe to BARNES BULLETS thankyou Barnes.
