I had to forward this story to one of my physiology professors from medical school at the University of Minnesota-Duluth. He studied hypothermia. I think he will be amazed that you all survived…just as I was!

Randy and Connie

I haven’t seen the both of you for some time, but I just thought to let you know I do think about you. I don’t know if I ever told you, but my father was a bush pilot out of Salmon Idaho, and much of the time that plane was my baby sitter.

Knowing what I do about planes and the kind of landing (?) Randy made, well…someone WAS looking out for you. No doubt that experience brought to mind how quickly you can loose whats really important…family and love ones.

You both take good care.

I read about the crash when it happened and never realized that the Randy Brooks mentioned was YOU. So glad to hear that you guys survived and are doing okay. Not many of us get two chances to live our lives…now concentrate on the really important things in life; God, family and hunting! Thanks for all your help and support when I worked at Cabela’s in Sidney. All of us there always looked forward to you and Coni stopping by for a visit. On a lighter side…have you considered getting your float plane rating?
